This is a simple baby blanket that makes a wonderful gift for a newborn. It is made of two fabrics, a fleece, such as Minkee or Flurr, and a backing of flannel or quilting cotton. The backing is wrapped to the front and the corners are neatly mitered and rounded. The flannel should be pre-washed, and then the blanket can be made in just a couple of hours.
